Description of the film from my dear friend, and disco lover, Cindy. She introduced me to the wonderful world of disco. I never realized how good it could truly be until today.
"o, basically, what you're watching now is the famous movie star. The plot goes that he gets too big for his britches and a new kid comes on the scene. Famous dude tries to sabotage him, but new kid prevails. All hail, Mr. Saturday Night!
The new kid gets his first big gig and this guy sends a bunch of goons to beat him up and make sure he misses that show. They really beat him up, smash his guitar, then he rises up like rocky and kicks all of their asses. There's like 20 of these guys.
And his white disco suit never gets tarnished. He goes on to do the show, and the crowd goes crazy. That was the kung fu scene. He totally kicks ass.
